Fantastic movie. Boyz in the Hood is a powerful, moving, gut-wrenching, and realistic film about the life of those living in South Central. The story feels and develops so realistically it almost seems like it's based on a true story.
The performances are incredible from the entire cast, Cube proving early on in his career that he can be an incredible dramatic performer in addition to comedy, Gooding Jr. showing his talents early on, and Fishburne being an incredible moral teacher for the confused youth of the area.
Easily in my top 10 of all time.
