Funny but never hilarious, often tense but never nail-biting, and thoroughly enjoyable yet never outright entertaining. Boys From County Hell is a neat and nifty Irish horror comedy which spins a fresh web on the tired vampire lore, leaving a fun if not airy blood-soaked romp to sink your teeth into.
It’s good while it lasts, but leaving a lasting impression it will not.
