This is a difficult movie to sit through. It's really devastating to confront the consequences of intolerance and hatred, to suffer through this person's torment and humilliation, and even worse to know that this was based on a true story that happened in 1993 and that most likely still happens today.
Hilary Swank's performance was riveting, great actress.
