Review of Boys Don't Cry (2000) by Fred V — 24 May 2011
Absolutely moving film. Swank deserved her Oscar, and it shows the true morality of human beings and their intolerance. Brandon Teena is actually buried in the cemetery across the street from my high school.
It's so disheartening to know that someone can do this to someone else because they're different. Luckily, because of this film, Teena's death will not be in vain.
