I remember hearing that this was a very tough film for Hilary Swank to act in and I can see why. Hilary Swank was amazing in this movie. It was disturbing but so true on how horrible people can be to others that are different. Of course it was interesting at the same time how accept Lana could be. Even though she knew Brandon was actually Teena, she still loved him the same way. Which was interesting to see. Most people would've freaked out.
I can't believe this was based on a true story. Seeing how Brandon was raped and murdered was just horrific. But definitely a great movie.
