Based on the true devastating story of the life of Brandon Teena, born as a woman who prefers to live as a man in a time when this was seen with more hate and fear than today. Falling in love with a girl, whose friends are some homophobes a**holes, he had the misfortune to meet the wrong people.
Hillary Swank is perfect in her role and her Academy Award proves it. Chloë Sevigny also shines in her role as Lana Tisdel.
