Not a bad comedy-romantic with Freddie Prinze Jr. and Claire Forlani as college students whose blossoming friendship nurses them through a series of romantic disappointments. Will they ever see that they're made for each other? Three guesses.
The overfamiliar script is redeemed by sprightly direction and appealing performances - especially by Forlani, who glows with intelligence, warmth, and vulnerability.
