The biggest problem with Boys and Girls is that the director tries to force Freddie Prinze Jr. into a role that he just can't fit. Sometimes bits and bursts of his charisma and enjoyable acting shines through, but is smothered once again by awkward chemistry, weak directing, and un unfunny script.
