Review of Boyhood (2014) by John R — 06 Mar 2015
WARNING: You may have a nostalgia-gasm while watching this film. It's film making at it's most risky and ambitious. The film literally captures 12 years of living and growing from a boy to a freshman college guy.
The director took a huge risk and planned one of the most ambitious projects ever. The film mostly examines the human condition and asks the life question, "What's the point?". I recommend this as heavily as the LOTR trilogy.
