Review of Boyhood (2014) by Joshua G — 29 Mar 2015
Unlike any movie I've seen. Portrays scenes from childhood that I experienced almost verbatim, and I'm sure will resonate with many male viewers as well. Ethan Hawke puts in a yeoman's performance and the female lead knocks it out of the park as well.
The only downside is that the kid goes through an annoying emo phase and a bit of an awkward acting phase that occasionally stops the movie's flow.
