Review of Boyhood (2014) by Jonathan G — 03 Jan 2016
To its directing to the performances it is a very simple film but thats what makes it perfect your just fallowing the kids life as he get older getting a prospective on life from his point of view it really works because you get to see it play into things as he gets older and starts to understand the harder things about his life to the story is about divorced women is working hard to make her life good for her two kids the movie doesn't full give you detail on Arquette and Hawks relationship but the film does gives you idea what have been wrong you just going through some normal person ones hawk take on the bad father is refreshing to see because he does care about his kids and does try to give them advice and to some of stuff he says is true Arquette steal her performance is amazing and really brings this film to higher levels linklater knows how to combine a to youth story with adult story overall it just an experience that that really is unforgettable a must watch.
