Boyhood is the cinematic achievement of the generation. Filmed over the course 12 years, it captures life through a lens, one of the simplest yet challenging things a filmmaker can accomplish. Every frame of this film held my eyes, and I instantly knew I was watching a classic.
Many of you may oversee this post as just some guy flipping out about a flick. But I can't help but express this excitement. I love movies, they are my world into which I can escape into. And when I come across a film like Boyhood, I want to share that experience with others.
