Review of Boyhood (2014) by Tim G — 07 Apr 2016
Courtesy of Richard Linklater's brilliant direction, an endearing cast, and an idea for the ages, Boyhood is a singular achievement unmatched in cinema. A film about everything and nothing, Linklater's meticulous epic beautifully explores the growing up, growing old, and growing apart in spectacular fashion.
It's the small moments in life that matter for Boyhood - enough to make them feel real. Time may be fleeting for all of us, but Boyhood's timeless story is a true treasure.
