Review of Boyhood (2014) by Nico C — 19 Dec 2017
Boyhood dragged me not only to the different stages of life in its 165 minute 12-year epic, but also to the life's many facets -- the ups and downs of parenting, the confusion while growing up, the feeling of letting go and moving, and the painful process of 'being' unfolded in time.
The film deserves the accolade of the Golden Globe and the British Academy. Patricia Arquette deserves her Oscars and I felt that Ethan Hawke played really well his role of a not-so-good-but-real-father-to-his-children.
