If they used different actors for each age, and made it in normal, film making time, then nobody would care for this movie. Because its the same boy, its gained allot of attention and praise. The point is, the plot, is boring.
The acting isn't even that good, especially by the sister. The movies drags on and on, with nearly nothing happening. The only watchable part is with the step-father, and with the parts with the Dad.
Mason personality especially as a teen, and young adult is so dual and boring, and monotone and stereotypical. Cant believe that people are saying that this movie is good. If it didn't take years to make, with the kid growing up on screen, then it would of been thrown in the trash.
Where it belong, because this movie is so STUPID.
