There are many vigilante films that have come and go. some memorable like Charles Bronson's Death Wish others over the top like Rutger Hauer's Hobo With a Shotgun but Boy Wonder does its best as an independent film.

Set it Brooklyn, the story centers on Sean Donovan; a young teen at a young age witnessed his mother get shot during a carjack affectes his psyche affected also by him using steroids. what makes Sean Standout is that he's not doing this as sense of duty or a means of doing the right thing its more of a simple emotional driven desire.

though making good use of its low-budget it does have its flaws, such as Sean's character not having enough time to grow or enough scenes of him fighting relying heavily on flashbacks on over-dramatic scenes.

Besides Caleb Steinmyer being a newcomer to films and this being his first other actors and actress' needed to step up their game and do better unlike Zulay Henao who is has been involved in movies that had recently been in theaters such as Fighting and Takers does a great job with the role she's given.

This film deserves a respect for the work put in and a may get a cult following but should garner more following for standing on its own amongst the other flop big-budget vigilante movies that failure.
