Absolutely worth seeing, about one boy's experience with conversion therapy. It never has worked and so many people have come out and said it was abusive and damaging. The most infuriating thing is they base it all on the Christian faith--that God doesn't want you to be gay.
I am so tired of people using the word God to justify ANYTHING. God is a concept, not a person. And the world would be a much better, safer place if we for once and for all stopped giving any credibility to the Bible.
It is probably responsible for most of the ills this world has suffered than any of the good people have done. There are positive messages and parables, folklore at best, to give some ethical structure at the time, but people have brains, and can use logic and reason to see Biblical ideas that divided people and justified violence were wrong.
This movie helps emphasis that in my opinion. The rational gay kid is the sane one.
