Review of Boy A (2008) by Shauna R — 06 Jun 2008
A very good piece of British drama about a man trying to redeem himself for the horrible doings he did as a convicted child. The storytelling is poignant and contemporary and the acting is pretty good too.
You can't help but feel for the struggle of the main character and as the story unfolds. I thought the writing and editing were skilfully done so the more horrified we become at his past, the more pity we take on him and actually care about him too.
Good, evocative drama.
