Andrew Garfield reminds me of the hobbit who went on to star in Lost, but that's just an aside. I was reminded mostly of Mike Leigh's movie, but this felt more scripted and just based on the subject matter, you spend most of the movie waiting for the other shoe to drop.
PS. I've liked everything I've seen of Peter Mullan.
