Review of Boy A (2008) by O S — 29 Sep 2008
British film loosely based on children simply known as "Boy A & Boy B" that killed a little child with no apparent reason.
Boy A leaves the institution where he has been since then, and has to face the world with lack of social skills and frequent flashbacks and nightmares of his past.
The starting point of the story is interesting in itself but here Boy A is also portrayed in a way I personally loved --very realistic and moving, you realize there is no easy answers on this case. What should we do with this boy? Can he be recovered for society? Will we let him begin a new life? Should he be allowed to?
The only thing I didn't like is the dialogue that leads to the final scene, but overall the film is great with great acting.
