A beautiful move from across the pond. Measured yet powerful. The movie works in a very restrained fashion. The narrative unfolds as an entangling of flashbacks and present-day.
All of us are haunted by incidents from our past. Some get lucky so as to move on and be allowed the option of living beyond it. But others are confined to living within that space where they must constantly confront the demons of their past.
