Review of Boy A (2008) by Olaf K — 13 Nov 2008
Story about a reintegrating child murderer didnt convince me. It is quite obvious from early on that the story is not based on true facts, because it is way too self-coonscious. The scenario tries so hard to bring all the lines neatly together and paint the black and white picture colourful along the way.
Our man does a very very good deed and his supervisor slash reintegration-wizard has a son that is so uninspiring and redundant for the story that it is obvious that he is going to be responsible for an important story change.
Na, too contrived.
