An engaging character study and exercise in morality, supplemented by hauntingly beautiful cinematography and a magnificent performance by up and coming actor Andrew Garfield. A look at the harsh reality of seeking a second chance in an unforgiving society who passes judgment in black and white, without considering the many shades of grey in between.
