Almost a spiritual successor to Paranoid Park but not Gus Van Sant quality. John Crowley has some talent 'for sure, but there are some really average drama-for-drama sakes moments, probably stemming from the original Novel.
They feel like novel type coincidences and back story. some great direction though, Peter Mullen is superb.
