Review of Boy A (2008) by Julie C — 28 Mar 2009
A really good, thought provoking film. The script retrospectively unravels Jack's past and how this impacts on his ability to live in the present. It made me think about how people in real life, notably youngsters, are prepared for the "reality shock" once they leave prison.
It kept me hooked from start to finish - and I had a lump in my throat at the end. I would recommend it.
