Review of Boy A (2008) by Marina G — 18 May 2009
If you can find this film on DVD, I highly recommend the watch. It's a bit dark, a bit lonely, a lot lovely, and, somehow in the midst of being overwhelmingly sorrowful, it's a bit hopeful.
A redemption story with no easy answers for a viewer.
I also recommend reading the novel from which the film was adapted by Jonathan Trigell.
