Review of Boy A (2008) by Erika K — 14 Dec 2010
Andrew Garfield is simply brillliant in this emotionally challenging study of a child killer released back into the community, now as an adult with a new identity, having completed his sentence. We share in the moments of awkwardness as he tries to reintegrate into society, and even witness him become a local hero for rescuing a little girl from a car crash.
However his anonymity is all too brief... Certainly uncomfortable viewing at times.
