Review of Boy A (2008) by Shtivelman M — 02 Aug 2008
Brilliantly written. Gorgeous unconventional cinematography. Incredible performance by Andrew Garfield. The story does cop-out slightly by choosing to have the crime as complicity rather than active participation.
And this is why Jimmy McGovern's version of the same story is much more effective. But still brilliant.
