[color=paleturquoise][b][i]Boy A[/i][/b] takes a hard and unsympathetic subject and adds a fulfilling story of regret, redemption, deception, and disaster.[/color].

[color=#afeeee]In a spellbinding performance, Andrew Garfield plays a young man who as a child commits a horrible crime. Years later he is out and he spends his days looking over his shoulder for those people who would like to expose him and those who would like to benefit from a good story.[/color].

[color=#afeeee]As I mentioned, Garfield is amazing and this should lead him to many other great parts. Peter Mullan and Katie Lyons are also excellent in supporting roles.[/color].

[color=#afeeee]The film asks us to take a look at a tough subject and allow ourselves to question our ideas of the way we treat people who have done terrible things as a child, paid their price. Do we allow this person to step back into society and attempt to become valuable citizens. It also gives insight into how our deeds are perceived. Piles and piles of good deeds can be overlooked for one bad action and it is the bad things we do that define us.[/color].
