Review of Boy A (2008) by Siara B — 11 Apr 2010
Although the pace is a little slow at moments throughout the film (some scenes with Katie Lyons really seem to drag), those featuring Andrew Garfield and Taylor Doherty certainly make up for it. A brilliant, well-acted film that sheds an alternatively sympathetic and objective light on the story of a child murderer that forces us to redefine our view of humanity and to consider the effects that a flawed justice system and the media have on people who only want a second chance.
