Review of Boxing Helena (1993) by Jessica S — 29 Jul 2007
Boxing Helena starts off as a very promising film about obsession, lust and control, but unfortunately by the end it seems that the writers can't bring themselves to follow through on the original, extremely morose vision. Sadly enough, that's the main reason why this movie fails.
The first half is still worth watching, if you can stand the horrible disappointment you'll have to endure at the end.
