Review of Box of Moonlight (1996) by Daniel D — 08 Oct 2007
One of the best hidden gems. Explores the whole "meaning of life" question with both the ambivalence and seriousness that characterizes the two main charaters. The key to life is a box of moonlight (no I did not just give something away for those who haven't seen this film).
Sam Rockwell is superb as Kid. John Turturro is brilliantly repressed as Al Fountain, from which nothing seems to flow.
