Review of Bowling for Columbine (2002) by Callum R — 22 Feb 2010
Bowling For Columbine: Michael Moore's tact may contain too much intentionally provoked schmaltz for some and he often strains to over emphasise and hammer home points that with a bit less smarm would come off as more realistic, but the critics are right in pointing out the discussion this film provides.
Maybe not entriely insightful but enjoyable, and harrowing if you enjoy the 'leads' irreverent banter, finely tuned in edit to give us a unique, if biased spin on gun culture. 78/100.
