Review of Bowling for Columbine (2002) by John M — 21 May 2011
Moore makes good points in this documentary. But, his heavy-handedness overwhelms the movie, ending with the cringe-inducing finale. Going after Charlton Heston for his NRA activities would have been fair game during his prime.
But, interrogating a mentally infirmed Heston comes across as just plain cruel, and seriously undercuts Moore's message.
