Review of Bowling for Columbine (2002) by Sandy K — 28 Aug 2009
I never saw this when it came out in 2002, even after it won an Oscar for documentary. Although he makes several valid points and has a keen sense of both the tragic and absurd in his delivery, the message meanders in places, as if Moore couldnâ??t decide the real cause of the high gun murder rate in the US.
His more recent â??Sickoâ?? was far more focused and powerful, and less prone to personal grandstanding to make his points.
