Review of Bowling for Columbine (2002) by Aaron B — 15 Feb 2010
Like Fahrenheit 9/11, it often feels like Moore is telling me something and not that I'm learning something. A documentary about the exploits of its director and voiced over by its director loses some credibility in light of its director's agenda.
Michael Moore is notorious for pushing his agenda to the limit. All that said, this movie is much better than Fahrenheit 9/11 at merely presenting the problem and not hitting the audience over the head with what Moore thinks.
The drama in this movie is also much more effective. I still don't trust Michael Moore though.
