Review of Bowling for Columbine (2002) by Ken T — 11 Mar 2010
Bowling for Columbine follows Michael Moore's exploration of America's gun culture. What makes this film unique, besides being extremely funny at times, is the fact that this film really brought documentary filmmaking to the mainstream.
Documentaries would soon find their way to the multiplexes, rather than being relegated to the video stores shelves or cable TV. Also a great look at a somewhat embarrassing piece of Americana.
