Review of Bowling for Columbine (2002) by Michael Y — 26 Dec 2010
I'm not usually a fan of documentaries and that being said, 'Bowling for Columbine' doesn't present itself as a documentary as much as it does as an exploration of a controversial subject (gun control), how opinion on that issue has changed, and why gun violence is a bigger problem in the United States than anywhere else.
While I do not care particularly for Michael Moore, he has done a great job mixing informative vignettes, satirical parodies of Americana, and down-to-earth testimony from victims of gun violence to remind us of the magnitude of this issue.
