Review of Bowling for Columbine (2002) by Richie R — 14 Aug 2011
An interesting and thought-provoking documentary about America's gun culture. Michael Moore explores why there might be so many shooting-related deaths in his country. As this documentary points out, the U.
S. doesn't have the most lax gun laws in the world, but there are more killings per capita than almost any other developed country on earth. Moore does appear to have staged some of the scenes to illustrate important points in a humorous manner, but it's probably justifiable in the context of keeping viewers interested and engaged for the duration of an almost 2 hour long documentary.
