Review of Bowling for Columbine (2002) by Mariel H — 13 Oct 2011
Michael Moores satire on modern America is thought provoking, interesting, witty, humorous and shocking. He attacks the issues of American fear within the media and pop culture, scoring interviews with Marilyn Manson and Trey Stone.
The main story centres around the Columbine shooting, but it is also accomponied by other issues such as racism, politics and American fear in general. A must have if you enjoy provocative and interesting documentaries which will keep you glued to the screen.
It's no wonder why America has the highest rate of gun kills per capita. I mean, when you can go buy bullets at K-Mart, something is seriously wrong. I'm so glad Moore made this film. It really must've opened up many eyes.
