Review of Bowling for Columbine (2002) by Chris H — 14 Nov 2011
Finally got around to this as I'm a big American Horror Story fan and Tate's massacre is heavily influenced by the Columbine massacare. I expected this to be all about the school killings, but the anti-arms exploration was just as interesting.
This is witty as hell (reminded me of Religulous) and highly engaging. A great documentary.
I love the (if conspiracy-laden) theory that the government bombards Americans (and us) with fear so that we'll consume and remain conformative. I bloody LOVE Manson's interview here. His response to the question about Columbine is so brutally insightful. A smart dude.
