Review of Bowling for Columbine (2002) by Jeff H — 27 Dec 2011
Really interesting when it's talking about how fear controls the United States, which gave me fond memories of the media telling me all the things I was supposed to be scared of in the early 2000's; but then it goes into anti-gun control without showing both sides of the argument, just that it's bad.
That is just one of many examples in the documentary which showcase how Michael Moore is a manipulative prick which is why no one really takes him seriously anymore. The scene that best shows this is when Michael Moore gets two Columbine survivors that were shot into K-mart and uses them as pawns to guilt trip the manager of K-mart.
It's like blaming Mcdonalds for someone choking on a big mac. The two minute south park rip-off "History of America" almost made me turn the movie off it was so baffling how narrow minded the whole thing was.
