Review of Bowfinger (1999) by Gabriel Z — 31 Oct 2007
Hilarious, entertaining... F&%KING BRILLIANT! Steve Martin and Eddie Murphy team up for a sensational movie that I continue to view quite frequently. Never gets old! Not as bad as some critics made it out to be, it seems audiences will enjoy this movie a lot more.
Hollywood's least successful director Bobby Bowfinger (Martin) reads a screenplay and feels it's time to make his first box-office hit. To star in the film he wants the world's 'sexiest' film star (Murphy) to play the main character, but the twist is that he refuses so they follow him around with a camera secretly to make the movie.
Bowfinger is great for a family night at the movies and for most ages.
