Review of Bowfinger (1999) by Richard D — 30 Jan 2013
This isn't a really great movie ... but it's good enough. It's not incredibly funny, but it's amusing, generally well-made, and contains one of the best Eddie Murphy performances of the last 20 years.
How is it that he can manage to be so self-deprecating here, yet to continue to make career choices that seem to be motivated by nothing but greed and rampant self-regard?
