Review of Boundaries (2018) by Brent_Marchant — 30 Jun 2018
A pleasant, frequently amusing combination road trip/family comedy-drama about knowing when to set limits, when to break rules and when to let go of expectations that are never going to be fulfilled. Despite some occasional over-the-top wackiness that seems out of place, the film mostly deals in realities that few movies are willing to take on as forthrightly as this one does.
The picture's excellent ensemble cast of both human and animal actors lends considerable credibility to things, too, making for a generally enjoyable viewing experience, by no means legendary cinema but nevertheless fun and touching.
