Review of Bound for Glory (1976) by Ty B — 30 Sep 2008
Haskell Wexler's(one flew over the cuckoo's nest, who's afraid of virginia wolf, ASC lifetime award winner) cinemtography seems to get a little short changed by the transfer to dvd but this is a gem of a movie from one of the 70's great directors, Hal Ashby ( harold and maude) with david carradine(kill bill) as woody guthrie.
It's part grapes of wrath, part ray.
