Review of Bound by Honor (1993) by Gord T — 01 Aug 2008
This was a really cool, and long, movie about chicano gangs in east LA from the early 70's to mid 80's and a spectacular film. I had no idea this movie existed and was pleasantly surprised throughout the movie.
it was a great portrayal of the different paths people can take from certain incidents in a rough and misdirected childhood. lots of twists and turns, for 3hours I was very impressed. I wish there was some more gore and gang action but this movie was doing what it could with its budget and had lots of up and coming actors at key points in their rising careers.
fans of this gangster type genre should for sure check this one out but most fans of any of the actors of just good quality film, this one stinks up wht whole room with big talent. 1 star deducted for not enough gore and action.
