First third or so def constitutes soft core porn, which is awkward since I saw this for a film class. rest sort of a bad gangster movie. the hero is ineffective, and the femme fatale turns out to save herself in a sense.
not very satisfying so far as gangster movies go. didn't believe the relationship between the two girls was real, either. the actors just didn't sell it to me. corky is an interesting character, though.
