Review of Bound (1996) by André Ø — 09 May 2008
Before the Wachowski brothers went all sci-fi on us with the matrix, there was bound. This is one of my favorite movies, ever. It is the perfect modern noir film, at turns scary, funny, violent, brutal, and always intense.
The two actresses who play the leads are perfect, and I cant say enough about the Wachowski's cinematography in the movie. I would much rather they go back to making violent crime movies like this then crappy updates of 80's cartoons.
