[b][i]A Beautiful Mind[/i][/b] - A visually stunning, beautifully acted film from Ron Howard. I never thought I'd have been the type who'd be interested in the story of a mad mathemetician. [b]**** (out of ****) A[/b].

[b][i]Bonnie and Clyde[/i][/b] - An American crime classic boasting performances from Dunaway and Beatty that are at once graceful and ferocious. This is a completely fascinating true story told with smarts and shockingly bloody violence (considering its 1967 release). [b]**** (out of ****) A+[/b].

[b][i]Bound[/i][/b] - The Wachowski Brothers' [i]Bound[/i] is one of the most completely captivating, sexy and awesomely serpentine modern film noirs I've seen. They should be making more films like this and try stepping away from the green screen for a while. Tilly and Gershon are feisty and delightfully sly. [b]**** (out of ****) A[/b].

[b][i]Boys Don't Cry[/i][/b] - A devastating true story is brought to painful life in [i]Boys Don't Cry[/i]. There is a beautiful love story at work here, but I warn that it is a beautiful love story that ends in graphic tragedy. A magnificent first feature from [i]Stop-Loss[/i] director Kimberly Peirce. [b]**** (out of ****) A+[/b].

[b][i]Bringing Out the Dead[/i][/b] - Underrated and underseen stunner from the always-reliable Scorsese. In fact, I don't think I've seen a single film of his I haven't loved - not only liked, but loved. Nicolas Cage is wonderful when he signs up with the right directors which, unfortunately for him, is a rarity. [b]**** (out of ****) A[/b].
